These places are not real, but they seem real.
There is no solid definition for what the Backrooms are. They are a space that goes beyond reality. They mess with our minds and the sense of time.
This website is a collection of responses to a selection of backroom images. Some knew what the backrooms are, some had no idea. The participants were unaware of the context of the image, and were asked for their initial feelings and reactions. They were then analyzed and grouped on this website by similar feelings and reactions. This shows that the backrooms can create all sorts of emotions and memories, depending on the individual.
